The Privacy Policy of Asia Cab Co., Ltd. (the "Policy") outlines the details and methods by which Asia Cab Co., Ltd., including its parent company and affiliated companies(collectively referred to as "Asia Cab"), collects, uses, discloses, and / or transfers personal data abroad.

This Privacy Policy applies to the personal data of (1) customers or users of Asia Cab services who are individuals, or (2) employees, personnel, officers, representatives, shareholders, authorized persons, directors, contacts, agents, and other individuals related to customers or users of Asia Cab services that are legal entities. The data is collected through the website, mobile applications, and online services (collectively referred to as the "Site"), or through programs, stores, events (collectively referred to as "Services"), or any activities owned or operated by Asia Cab.

However, this Policy does not apply to any Site or Service that references a different privacy policy. In cases where the Site or Service is co-owned with business partners, such Site or Service may reference a joint privacy policy between Asia Cab and the business partner, or reference the privacy policy of the business partner separately from the Asia Cab Privacy Policy.

Personal Data

Personal data refers to "information about an individual that can identify that person, directly or indirectly, but does not include information about deceased persons specifically.

Collection of Personal Data

Personal data that may be collected by Asia Cab includes:

  • Salutation, first name, last name, address, gender, nationality, phone number, and email address.
  • Financial account information, such as fare amounts, payment types, and other payment details.

Additional personal data that Asia Cab may collect includes:

  • If you create an account - your username, password, birthdate, gender, nationality, and mobile phone number.
  • If you use Asia Cab services or through other programs or methods - the amount paid, service usage locations and distances, frequency of service use, service usage times, rewards received and redeemed.
  • If you complete surveys or interact with Asia Cab in other ways - demographic information, feedback, questions, suggestions, and interests.

Asia Cab may automatically collect online usage data when you visit the Site or use Services, including through call centers. This data may include your internet service provider, operating system, browser type, domain name, computer identification number (IP), access times, referring websites, opened web pages, and access dates and times. Asia Cab may use cookies, which are small data files stored on your hard drive by websites, to help improve the Site and your experience by storing information about which areas and features are popular and counting visits to the Site.

Asia Cab may store aggregated or anonymous data that does not directly identify you and may combine collected data with information obtained from third parties. If other data is combined with personal data, or used to identify an individual, Asia Cab will treat such data as personal data.

Personal Data of Third Parties

If you provide personal data of third parties (e.g., your spouse or children) such as names, email addresses, and phone numbers, you must have the authority to provide such personal data and authorize Asia Cab to use it under this Privacy Policy. You are also responsible for informing third parties about this Policy and obtaining their consent if necessary.

Personal Data of Minors, Incapacitated Persons, and Persons of Unsound Mind

Generally, Asia Cab does not collect personal data from minors (individuals under the age of 20 or married minors) without consent from their legal guardians (unless permitted by law), or from incapacitated persons or persons of unsound mind without consent from their legal guardians. If you are a minor, incapacitated person, or person of unsound mind wishing to engage with Asia Cab, you must obtain consent from your legal guardian before providing personal data.

If Asia Cab becomes aware that it has unintentionally collected personal data from minors without consent from their legal guardians (unless permitted by law), or from incapacitated persons or persons of unsound mind without consent from their legal guardians, Asia Cab will cease using and delete such personal data immediately, unless it has a legal basis to continue using it.

Sources of Personal Data

We may receive your personal data from the following sources:

  1. Service registration processes via Mobile Application or submission of requests to exercise various rights with us.
  2. Voluntary participation in surveys or communications via email or other channels between us and you.
  3. Data collected from your use of our website through browser cookies.
  4. Information obtained during the recruitment of drivers via Website or telephone, or through direct application submission by you.

Purpose of Data Processing

  • Responding to customer service inquiries, posting your comments or messages on Asia Cab's blog or online platforms, and addressing your inquiries or activities on the site.
  • Communicating with you via mail, phone, email, and text regarding your orders, service usage, account management, program participation, contests, or information requests.

Asia Cab may transfer your personal data outside Thailand to its affiliates and external service providers, as part of its normal business operations, for IT services or Cloud services. These transfers will be secured and will comply with legal requirements to ensure adequate data protection.


Data Retention

  1. Data is stored digitally.
  2. Data is held in a Cloud database.
  3. Retention period is 1-3 years.
  4. After the retention period, or if legal processing grounds cease, personal data will be destroyed within 90 days from the end of the period, either by deletion from databases or destruction of physical copies.

Data Security

Personal data collected, used, or disclosed under this policy will be retained only as long as necessary for service provision, legal compliance, or as required by applicable law. After that, data will be removed from Asia Cab's systems and records, or anonymized appropriately

Upon the enactment of data protection laws in Thailand, you will have the following rights concerning your personal data:

  • Right of Access: To access your personal data or know its origin and receive a copy of the data being processed. Additional copies may incur a fee.
